I am a felon with a degree, can I get a job?

Hello I’m 26 years old I was adjudged guilty in Florida of a felony in 2011 of child neglect at that time I was 19 or 20 and what happened was a mistake right now its very hard with finding jobs I have graduated from University of South Florida with my bachelors degree in criminology and I also have my associates degree with both I have graduated with honors. I plan on going back for my Masters right now I feel like I have wasted my time going to school. But the question I have for you. Can I have my case reopened to have adjudication withheld or should I just wait right now I am absolutely clueless on what to do,

First of all, I know of felons with far worse convictions than yours who have professional careers. As I suggest to every felon looking for a job, apply for every job you feel you are qualified for. Do not assume that because you have a felon you will not be hired. The main concern you have if your chosen profession requires any licensing or certification. Your conviction may affect your eligibility for licensing.
