Ex-offender in VA needs job search help

Hello,

My name Gary, I am an ex-offender from a forgery charge in 2005. I have been working jobs only because I knew people who were in charge. I live in Richmond ,Va and really trying to move forward in my life. With this on my record its starting to really get hard as I try to do this. I would really like some help or as where to I could go to get some help. I have tried to apply for school but some things I want to do will not even benefit me as ex-offender. If you can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it right now. I am at a stopping point of no where to go. I have been working on trying to have my record expunged, but I was told it could take up to 3 to 6 months to have this done. I am at the point of losing everything even my apartment right now because I am unemployed. Please send me some help asap.

May God bless you.
